1. Joining the beta and accepting the rules
These are participation rules for the small-scale WayThread beta. They do not invent WayThread as a registered legal entity and are not a formal commercial-service promise to the public. Participate only if you received access through a real beta-distribution or communication channel that can reply to you.
The public website can be viewed without accepting these terms. Before creating a test account, the sign-in page provides an unchecked acceptance control and links to these Terms and the Small-Scale Beta Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not submit an email, start Google sign-in, or use signed-in beta features. The current checkbox is a client-side gate, not a server-side versioned consent record, and it does not replace a legally required separate AI or sensitive-data explanation.
2. Beta nature, service scope, and regions
WayThread helps you clarify goals, create reviewable action routes, execute tasks, record completed work and trails, and use AI assistance. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, educational-admissions, employment, or other professional service and does not guarantee an exam, health, income, career, or goal outcome.
Beta features, interfaces, data structures, models, and third-party services may change, be interrupted, degraded, reset, or contain errors and data loss. We will try to explain material effects through the original beta channel, but do not use WayThread as the only copy of important information, an emergency service, or a tool for critical professional decisions.
These terms have equivalent English and Chinese texts; language does not determine jurisdiction. Testers in mainland China and elsewhere retain mandatory rights that local law does not allow these terms to exclude. A small-scale test does not mean worldwide licence, filing, consumer, representative, or transfer requirements are complete.
3. Test accounts, sign-in, and data boundaries
You may sign in with email and password or with Google. An email/password account verifies the email once at signup; an existing email-code account or a user who forgot a password can use the email recovery flow to set a new password. Use an email or identity account you are authorized to control, protect your device, password, confirmation or recovery codes, and session, and report unauthorized access through the original beta channel. Do not impersonate another person, transfer accounts, bypass authentication, or access another person's local or remote data.
Core content is currently local-first and scoped to the authenticated user ID on a device. Signing out does not delete the local space, and Clear all local data resets principal application state without deleting the account. Delete account removes the authentication identity, direct server-side account data, and the initiating device's current-account space after PRO, Star Coin, and data-loss confirmation. It does not remotely erase other offline devices, withdraw requests sent to AI providers, or provide data export; see the Small-Scale Beta Privacy Notice for the exact boundaries.
4. DeepSeek AI and your judgment
Current AI content uses the DeepSeek Open Platform for foundation-model processing. In addition to goal, plan, task, coaching, review, and story features you request, some home ambient copy, growth-card text, task suggestions, coaching queues, and summaries may invoke AI automatically based on page or task state and may not show a separate prompt each time. The Small-Scale Beta Privacy Notice describes the data categories and cache boundaries.
AI may produce incomplete, incorrect, biased, outdated, or unsuitable content. Check facts, dates, resources, risks, and feasibility. Consult a qualified professional for health, safety, legal, financial, or other high-risk issues and do not use AI output as the sole basis for those decisions. AI does not act externally, place orders, or spend a paid entitlement without your confirmation; real plan changes, sensitive-record analysis, and paid actions should still require your confirmation.
5. AI content sources and current labeling limits
Goal questions, plans, task details, coaching suggestions, reviews, stories, growth-card text, and some ambient copy may be AI-generated or AI-assisted. Only some beta interfaces currently show an AI-generated or AI-assisted notice, and the beta does not guarantee a uniform visible label, watermark, or file metadata for every output. Treat the content described above as AI-assisted and verify it yourself. These terms do not claim that comprehensive AI watermarking is already implemented.
Do not maliciously forge, remove, or conceal a legally required AI label. When publishing generated content on another platform, use that platform's declaration tools and follow applicable labeling, intellectual-property, and content rules. A DeepSeek output does not represent DeepSeek's endorsement of your goal, decision, or third-party content.
6. User content and limited licence
You retain rights in lawful content you create. To provide storage, sync, generation, analysis, export, or sharing that you request, you grant the operator and controlled providers a permission limited by purpose, duration, and necessity. It is not a transfer of ownership and does not make private goals public.
Do not submit another person's information, confidential material, infringing media, malicious code, or unlawful content without authority. If a task involves another person, a child, health, financial account, precise location, or other sensitive information, confirm your lawful basis and minimize what you enter.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use WayThread for unlawful conduct, infringement, harassment, deception, malicious code, vulnerability probing, bypassing access or payment controls, scraping private content, service interference, bulk registration, or automated abuse of model or external-provider resources.
For a credible security risk, unlawful content, or serious abuse, we may use proportionate measures such as warning, feature limits, request suspension, protective sign-out, or account closure, and retain records or cooperate with authorities where legally required. These measures do not remove applicable appeal or personal-data rights.
8. Coins, Star Coins, Pro, and real payments
Coins, beta Star Coins, and beta Pro entitlements have no promised cash value, yield, or redemption. Unless a separate real-purchase page first identifies the item, price, payment platform, refund terms, and support route and you confirm, these terms do not authorize a hidden charge or state that every payment method is available.
Star Coins support clearly priced AI or digital beta entitlements and may be spent only after the product shows the actual price and you confirm. Failures and reversals follow the displayed ledger rule. A public paid launch still requires operator, tax, refund, minor-purchase, platform-payment, and support information.
9. Third-party services
Current principal third parties include Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare, Google sign-in or website analytics when you choose them, DeepSeek, and Open-Meteo or Amap when the corresponding capability is enabled. DeepSeek is the current model technology provider; there is no official partnership, agency, joint operation, or endorsement relationship between DeepSeek and WayThread.
WayThread does not fully control a third party's availability, processing, or independent terms. Allow lists, minimal fields, timeouts, fallbacks, and safe links should reduce risk, but WayThread does not guarantee transactions, navigation, or content on an independent third-party page. Review the other party's terms before acting after you leave WayThread.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
The WayThread name, marks, interface, code, illustrations, sounds, official content, and arrangement are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. Except under an open-source licence, law, or written authorization, do not copy, sell, impersonate the official service, remove notices, or build a competing service from private interfaces. Third-party materials retain their own licences.
You may voluntarily submit suggestions or bug reports. Unless agreed otherwise, we may use non-identifying feedback to improve the product. Receiving feedback does not transfer ownership of your private goals, attachments, or other user content.
11. Privacy, leaving the beta, and deletion
Personal-data processing is governed by the Small-Scale Beta Privacy Notice linked on the same page. General sign-in acceptance does not replace a separate explanation or consent required for sensitive information, disclosure to another processor, an international transfer, or another regulated activity. Settings now provides account deletion, but signing out, resetting principal local data, clearing website or app data, and deleting an account still have different effects; deletion is not immediate physical erasure across devices or at a provider.
Use the original beta-distribution or communication channel to stop testing, exercise other privacy rights, or report account or deletion problems. Do not post verification codes, session tokens, identity documents, or health information in public comments or group chats. A verifiable operator, public email, and stable request record remain required before public operation.
12. Minors
WayThread is not specifically designed for children and currently lacks a guardian-consent flow and child-specific rules. A user under 14 in mainland China should not register independently. Elsewhere, a user below the local digital-consent age should use the service only under guardian direction and local law.
Before opening the service to children, the operator must implement age-appropriate design, guardian consent, privacy rules, anti-addiction protections, and purchase controls. A sentence asserting guardian consent cannot replace those mechanisms.
13. Changes, suspension, reset, and termination
Beta features, interfaces, data structures, providers, and available regions may change. Maintenance, a security incident, provider failure, force majeure, or a legal requirement may interrupt, degrade, suspend, or end the test. A material change to personal-data processing, real payment, or important rights should be explained through the original beta channel, with renewed confirmation where required.
Beta data may be lost because of a defect, migration, or reset. We will give advance notice where feasible, but you remain responsible for keeping important material elsewhere. You may stop using the beta and clear data on your device at any time; in-product deletion follows the current flow and boundaries in the Small-Scale Beta Privacy Notice, and deletion problems can be reported through the original beta channel.
14. Liability boundaries
To the extent permitted by law, the small-scale beta is provided as actually available and does not make unsupported guarantees about goal outcomes, uninterrupted operation, permanent data preservation, third-party content, or AI accuracy. You remain responsible for real-world action, safety judgment, external transactions, and content you publish.
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer or personal-data rights or liability that law does not permit us to exclude, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury.
15. Applicable rules and disputes
Mandatory law in your location applies first where it cannot be excluded by these terms. No company, business address, court, or arbitration body is invented here. Beta disputes should first use the original beta communication channel, without limiting your right to contact a competent regulator, consumer authority, or court.
16. Updates and conditions before public operation
A material change updates the date and receives prominent notice through the original beta-distribution or communication channel. Before public registration, commercialization, or broader operation, WayThread must still add a verifiable operator identity, public service and privacy email, real production provider and region inventory, and legal review, and request acceptance of a new formal version where required.
